The Girlhood Project is entirely free for youth participants.
Every year, TGP requires donations of supplies, food for
weekly dinners, transportation, and funds that support youth
participation and ongoing research. Your support is critical
to enable the Project’s daily functions which uplift girls’ lived
experiences and bolster their success.

meals
Average $500 - $750 Per Week
The Girlhood Project prioritizes providing a healthy and nourishing meal at the start of every session. College and middle school participants eat together to strengthen relationships and kickstart activities.
transportation
$1500 Per Semester
We provide transportation so that the girls can safely and easily get to Lesley's campus.
materials
$500 Per Semester
Our multimedia activities require various materials including magazines, art supplies, visual journals, and cameras.
celebration
At the end of the semester, The Girlhood Project hosts a celebration to share this transformative experience with the community. We compile and present our projects through multimedia displays and support participant presentations.
